The 43rd Asbury Short Film Concert, the longest-running short film exhibition touring showcase, is returning to Cincinnati this month on Oct. 10 and 13.

The short film concert, presented by Asbury Shorts New York and based out of Asbury, New York, combines old and new short films for audiences to enjoy on the big screen. Featuring films from festival-winning directors and world-renowned shorts, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to see international and rare films, usually only available for viewing online.

“The fast-paced, highly entertaining showcase features the best in live-action comedy, drama and animation all in one sitting,” said Asbury Shorts New York in a press release.

This year, the 43rd Asbury Short Film Concert is collaborating with popular podcasting duo The Cinema Guys, who will be hosting the first show in Cincinnati on Oct 10 at the Esquire. The first show’s program begins at 7 p.m.

The same film program will be repeated on Oct. 13 at the Mariemont Theatre and will begin at 2 p.m.

Tickets for the short film exhibition are still available at esquiretheater.com and mariemonttheater.com for $12. The festival is recommended for ages 16 and above.
