The funnyman who inspired a generation to “Never half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing,” will bless all of Cincinnati with his wise wit and comedic genius this October.

The actor, humorist and woodworker Nick Offerman, best known for his role as parks director Ron Swanson in the NBC hit Parks and Recreation, added seven new stops for his standup show, Nick Offerman: LIVE!, including at Cincinnati’s Taft Theatre.

“Fans will join Nick Offerman for a night of deliberative talking, mirth, and music,” reads a press release. “An evening that compels listeners to chuckle while also causing them to honestly countenance the aspects of humanity about which we have to laugh so that we don’t attack one another with shovels. If the evening is light on dance, the audience has only themselves to blame.”

Tickets for the Oct. 1 show go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. You can buy tickets at Tickermaster.com or at the Taft Theatre box office during normal business hours.

Taft Theatre, 317 E. Fifth St., Downtown. More info: tafttheatre.org.
