A boutique hotel and short-term rental business in downtown Cincinnati has been acquired by a new owner and has been rebranded.
BWB Hospitality opened for stays at REST at 333 E. Eighth St. in February 2024. In a press release Thursday, commercial real estate developer and design-builder Richard Hughes of Kiesland Development Services announced he had purchased the property, which has been rebranded as The 333 Suites.
Kiesland says his design-build team renovated the short-term rental complex in November 2023, which included eight furnished units ranging from studios to two-bed suites, with fully equipped kitchens that include stainless steel appliances, in-unit washers and dryers and plenty of natural light.
The 333 Suites is designed with Cincinnati’s musical roots and history in mind, with music-themed decor and artwork, including a themed pig statue in the lobby and framed LP covers. Each guest suite is also equipped with built-in, customizable surround sound.

“The Queen City’s musical past spans all the way to the 1800s and the founding of the May Festival and construction of Music Hall, to King Records and its legacy in Rock & Roll, R&B and funk,” Hughes said in a press release. “The 333 Suites celebrates this history, and is just steps away from renowned music venues, including Arnold’s Bar and the Taft Theatre, as well as other popular attractions and major employers in Downtown Cincinnati. Whether our guests are staying for business or leisure, they will enjoy returning to The 333 Suites for some rest and relaxation.”
The hotel also features a fitness center, a shared game room with a video game console and board games and storage space.
